Alhamdulillah.. sekali lagi di beri kepercayaan olehi Alia untuk mengandam adik iparnya, Huda. Thanks Alia.. Makeup kali ini di Sabak Bernam, this is the 1st time my trip sebelah sana. Kuala Selangor pun tak pernah sampai... ini kan pula Sabak Bernam!.. Nama je tinggal di Sg Buloh.. so 1st day tu, sebelum subuh dah gerak from my place at 5.45am. Dalam keadaan hujan renyai-renyai dan gelap gelita (bayangkan kiri kanan ladang kelapa sawit) seram pun ada... we (me & hubby) drove slowly and subuh di masjid Kuala Selangor. Bila dah cerah sikit, haaaa.... baru lega sikit.. dapatlah tengok pemandangan di kiri dan kanan. Selalunya, aku ni pantang jer masuk kereta.. terus "zzzzzz"... but this was different. I was so excited! Fuhhh!!! I was amazed by looking at the houses yang ada di kiri kanan bahu jalan. What can I say.. indah, dikelilingi kehijauan pokok, udara terasa nyaman tanpa pencemaran. Sawah padi di sebelah kanan dan kelapa sawit disebelah kiri... hati terasa tenang sepanjang perjalanan, Alhamdulillah.. finally we reached about 8.00am. Had our breakfast and once again I was amazed by the greetings from "aunt & uncle" (mak n ayah pengantin) friendly, down to earth and very welcome..

Thank you very much aunt, uncle, Huda, Alia n others for the awesome hospitality was given to us.. May ALLAH blessed all of you.. Amin...

Alhamdulillah.. syukur tak terhingga kepada ALLAH S.W.T kerana dengan izinNYA, aku telah memenangi pertandingan andaman pengantin yang diadakan pada 14hb March, 2010.

Tak sangka pun ada, maklumlah peserta-peserta lain pun tak kurang hebatnya.. Ada yang telah bertahun-tahun berpengalaman, kalau nak dibandingkan dengan aku yang baru sahaja 2 tahun (betul-betul serious) dalam bidang ni. Memang rezeki aku... ALHAMDULILLAH...

Thank you to my model Lyana, even both of us not really prepared for this competition, bayangkan peserta lain semua ada bunga tangan kecuali aku seorang.. but luckily my hubby managed to get roses at the last moment (dengan harga yang aku kata giler... RM100...) memang buat duit betul orang tu.. elok sampai jer bunga kat tangan Lyana, MC pun terus panggil peserta no. 3 naik ke pentas. Aku gelabah giler masa tu.. apa taknya, di suruhnya aku explained apa yang aku buat on my model atas pentas... fuuuhhh!!!... panik gak masa tu... but still maintain.. hehe...

Lastly, would like to thank my hubby yang banyak support aku.. also telah mengeluarkan modal yang banyak for the attire(baju pengantin) n also my friend K.Maz n her daughter Lyana (model). Looking Your Best on Your Wedding Day

Wedding Beauty Regime

All brides want to look fresh, radiant and beautiful on their wedding day. Looking great takes effort and does not happen overnight. So it is necessary to make the effort to take care of yourself well before your wedding day. Here are some tips to help you do just that!

Soft and Smooth Lips

Soft and supple lips can make a person look very attractive. A smear of Vaseline or honey on your lips at night will give them the soft and supple look the next day. Once a week, gently brush your lips using a toothbrush and warm water. Do this in a circular motion. Brushing your lips will help remove dead cells and make them softer. Alternatively, you can buy a lip scrub.

Taking Care of Your Feet

After a long tiring day, soak your feet in a basin of warm water mixed with a handful of fragrant bath salts. After 10 minutes, wash your feet (using a simple soap and water wash is sufficient). It will make you feel better, refreshed.

Liberally apply Vaseline (or a similar cream) to your feet and use a soak before you go to bed. In the morning, the skin on your feet will be soft and moist.

Once a week, take a foot filer and scrub your heels. Using a toothpick, clean the edges and grooves around your toenails to remove any dirt that has accumulated. Apply cold cream or moisturiser before winding up. This will make the skin soft and prevent people from running away at the sight of your feet!

Eyes

Eyes are the windows to the soul. The area around your eyes is very sensitive and requires special attention. Using eye cream is necessary as the area around the eyes is usually

tthe first to get wrinkles. Remember to treat the area very gently; never rub too hard around the eyes.

Black circles and wrinkles can be prevented by applying vitamin A or retinol-enriched eye cream. Vitamin A repairs the skin and makes it look younger. Creams containing vitamin C are also good as they can stimulate the growth of collagen and thus battle early signs of aging. For tired or puffy eyes, place a cotton pad soaked in chilled rose water across your brow and over your eyes. Also, keep thin slices of cucumber ready in the refrigerator for placing over your eyes.

Applying pure castor oil to your eyebrows and lashes, particularly those who have scanty growth, will make them grow thicker and longer.
